Job Description
A developing Independent School in Brent is seeking a passionate and fluent French Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The successful French Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their French language skills and cultural understanding.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective French Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE French examinations.
- Develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills in French.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as a French Teacher.
- Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources.
- Encourage an appreciation for French language and culture.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French or Modern Foreign Languages.
- Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Native or nearnative fluency in French.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in French.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
