Demonstrated expertise in programming and configuring building automation systems including controllers sensors actuators and associated equipment
Solid understanding of mechanical systems such as air handling units boilers chillers VAVs (pressuredependent and independent) cooling towers and CRAC units
Wellversed in control strategies including static pressure resets supply air temperature regulation and central plant sequencing
Excellent troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
Skilled in using handheld diagnostic tools such as voltmeters manometers and amp meters
Capable of performing under pressure and handling multiple tasks efficiently
Proactive in researching and evaluating new technologies to enhance organizational performance
Selfmotivated and equally effective working independently or as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experienced in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) as well as Google Sheets and Google Docs
Willing to join Local 39 Stationary Engineers
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Over seven years of handson experience with Building Automation Systems or formal training from a trade school
Advanced knowledge of control systems such as Alerton Automated Logic and Tridium Niagara
Certifications and Licenses:
Valid driver s license (as required)
Physically capable of performing job duties including standing walking climbing ladders/stairs stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs
Familiarity with current procedures and standards to resolve moderately complex issues
Ability to analyze problems and apply sound judgment based on technical expertise and best practices
Highly organized with a curious solutionsoriented mindset
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
