Job Description
- Location: Watertown New York
- Shift: Rotating; Day/Night
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2340
- Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to ICU patients.
- Monitor and assess patients conditions recognizing signs of deterioration.
- Administer IV fluids medications and contrast per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including cardiac monitoring.
- Manage ventilators infusion pumps and other lifesupport equipment.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
Education:
-
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience:
- Current ICU/critical care experience preferred.
- Minimum of one successful travel assignment (new travelers will not be considered).
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active RN license Required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Required.
- IV & IV Contrast Certification Required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred.
- Coronary Care Course or Successful Completion of Challenge Exam (within Orientation).
- Basic Lethal Dysrhythmia and NIHSS Certification (within first 6 months of employment).
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 60mile radius qualify for travel pay.
