Job Description
Your role as Transport Team Lead
- Line management responsibility
- Strategically deploy resource to ensure maximum service levels adherence with minimal cost impact
- Ensure company procedures are adhered to at all times
- Ensure formal personal development reviews are undertaken with regular 11 meetings creating and reviewing
- development plans.
- Develop a culture of respect high motivation and high performance within the transport team
- Ensure employee performance is managed utilising all business tools available
- Accident management including remedial actions conducted
- Professional standards maintained across team and equipment (uniforms cleanliness of vehicles etc)
- Implement Employee Engagement activities to increase employee satisfaction
- Delivering performance to meet operational Key Performance Indicators for service quality health safety and
- environment
- Ensure customer expectations are met at all times
- Support the Transport Manager with forward planning inputting into the plan and of any transport related
- projects
- Ensure compliance with working time and drivers hours regulations
- Ensure tachograph information is managed in line with relevant regulations
- Contribute to budgeting process including input into and adherence to transport budget
