About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Administration Officers to work on a fulltime basis over 7 days on a rotating roster. This is a busy role where are you are the first point of contact for our patients visitors and staff you should love working in a dynamic role meeting and greeting managing phones and completing administrative work.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

Your duties will include:
This opportunity will see you join our team as an allrounder to assist where required your duties will vary day to day and may include:
Manage a busy reception desk
Answer and redirect calls
Prepare admission paperwork
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems includingpreparation of medical records
Perform Health Fund Checks as required
Manage the collection of excesses/copayments
Coordinate with staff from other departments
Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
Essential Criteria:
Previous reception/administration experience
Prior experience in the health industry would be advantageous
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Experience in MS Office (Outlook Word and Excel)
Flexible to work a variety of shifts early/late shifts
Experience working with patient management system (Desirable)
