- Job Description
- We are seeking a highly talented individual for a software algorithm engineering position in MACH Division. The successful candidate will join a worldclass team of algorithm and software engineers to design deep learning machine learning image processing and related algorithms for wafer inspection and metrology applications.
- A key qualification of the candidate is the ability and passion to create new ideas analyze complex systems formulate mathematical solutions and implement machine learning workflows that are practical for use in production. The candidate is expected to possess good oral and written communications skills and domestic or international travel involved for up to 20 (supporting customer betas or visiting/training in Hefei China/US etc.. In addition the candidate will be required to provide technical guidance and direction to other algos members in the team.
- Detailed responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and improving DL/ML training sets and associated workflow processes
- Evaluating and improving DL/ML learning model performance
- Comparing and assessing various DL/ML learning models
- Evaluating and implementing algorithms to improve signal to noise ratio from variety of image conditions (i.e. extracting information from noisy images)
- Working with local and global teams in all phases of product lifecycles
- Working with product engineering teams to define performance specifications and deliver to those specifications
- Providing technical support during product demos and beta testing working with domain experts from other functional teams on customer engagement projects
