Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Video Editor with a passion for editing shootbased content. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing raw footage into polished videos and a strong understanding of visual storytelling. You will primarily work on videos captured from shoots and ensure content is optimized for digital and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive highquality videos for various platforms (e.g. YouTube Instagram websites).
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project objectives and implement creative edits.
- Enhance videos with transitions color correction audio syncing and sound design.
- Organize and manage media assets ensuring efficient workflows.
- Optimize video formats and resolutions for platformspecific requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and platform algorithms to deliver engaging content.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in video editing with a focus on shootbased content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of color grading audio editing and visual effects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A portfolio of edited video projects showcasing storytelling skills.
