Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a In t./Sr. Blockchain Software Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable highperformance decentralized exchange systems.
- Integrate DeFi protocols bridges and liquidity sources across multiple blockchains into our system.
- Build and maintain APIs internal tools and services that support our frontend partners and ops teams.
- Optimize performance reliability and uptime of our core trading infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve scaling bottlenecks across infrastructure data ingestion and logic.
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineers on product direction architecture and roadmap.
Requirements
- 3 years of professional backend engineering experience (we re hiring at multiple seniority levels).
- Strong proficiency with Python and modern backend systems design.
- Deep understanding of API design databases and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols and crypto infrastructure or a proven ability to ramp up quickly.
- Experience transitioning from a single monolith to a scalable multiservice infrastructure ideally in GCP.
- Selfdirection comfortable navigating ambiguity and eager to take ownership.
Nice To Haves:
- Experience with DEXs bridges RPC infrastructure and onchain transaction building.
- Experience working with blockchain data (e.g. The Graph subgraphs custom ETLs).
- Knowledge of CeFi APIs and data ingestion patterns.
- Experience deploying to and managing global cloud infrastructure across multiple regions (e.g. GCP Kubernetes Docker).
- Contributions to open source or crypto protocols.
- Prior startup or earlystage experience.
