Job Description
Job Summary
We re urgently supporting a wellestablished NHS dental practice in Southwell (just outside Newark) to recruit Associate Dentists or Locum Dentists for regular ongoing work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team with flexible days a stable patient base and excellent earning potential.
The practice is mixed NHS/private modern and patientfocused. They are looking to expand the business.
Duties
- Provide highquality NHS dental care in line with UDA targets
- Carry out routine dental procedures including examinations fillings extractions and preventive treatments
- Manage a list of NHS patients with autonomy and clinical freedom
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in accordance with GDC and NHS guidelines
- Deliver patient care in a timely and efficient manner ensuring excellent chairside manner
- Liaise with practice staff and management to ensure smooth daytoday operations
- Provide private treatments or upsell where appropriate
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Requirements
Skills
- GDC registered with active NHS Performer Number
- Sound understanding of NHS dental contracts and UDAbased work
- Ability to work efficiently and meet UDA expectations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills friendly and professional with patients
- Excellent clinical judgement and time management
- Comfortable working in a mixed NHS/private setting
- Experience using dental software systems (e.g. R4 SOE) is an advantage
Job Types: Fulltime Parttime Permanent Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 315.00 700.00 per day
Expected hours: 7 37.5 per week

Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Current experience as an Optical Assistant Excellent customer service skills Excellent dispense skills at all levels Will be commercially minded and able to push the business forward Will be well organised & with administrative skills
