Job Description

Job Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for planning organizing and scheduling staff to meet the companys labor needs and requirements. Serving as a key liaison this position holds the authority to make decisions regarding patient placement including the allocation of nursing personnel.

Schedule Details
Location: Remote (Central US)
Hours: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM CST


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to facilitate and oversee care coordination.
  • Communicates patient care information effectively to both internal and external staff.
  • Ensures proper documentation of patient information and updates care plans and orders as required.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant external standards and regulations.
  • Organizes and coordinates treatment plans between patients and the medical team.
  • Serves as a liaison between the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Maintains daily staffing reports and provides weekly updates to management.
  • Prepares work schedules and ensures all staffing requirements are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs including MS Word Excel Outlook Adobe Acrobat and electronic medical records.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience as a staffing coordinator or in a similar role.
