Job Description
At ACAP weve been empowering individuals and families by expanding opportunities and breaking down barriers to success for nearly 60 years. As a Family Support Advocate you will be key liaison for families and help parents/guardians develop their role as their childs first and ongoing teacher.

Pay starts at $21.42 per hour; Monday Friday; 37.5 hours per weekQualifications:
Associate degree in Human Services Social Work or a related field OR a Family Development Credential required. Experience in case management social work or early childhood education is preferred. Basic PC skills including database entry word processing and spreadsheet skills are required. Bi or Multilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate with families especially during key transition times such as enrolling students in program classroom visits kindergarten enrollment transition etc.
- Promote and provide engagement and skill development opportunities for parents
- Promote regular student attendance developing plans to support students with low attendance
- Conduct customer outreach and ongoing recruitment of children to ECE program(s)
- Work with community partners to connect families with local resources and events
- Collect data and maintain records
