This position supports the Bureau of Laboratories mission of testing human specimens and nonhuman samples to identify both infectious and noninfectious diseases and conditions. Some key responsibilities of the position involve managing the warehouse and its assets including laboratory instruments and equipment. In this role you will be responsible for supervising staff maintaining inventory and collaborating with other departments to improve logistics processes. The ultimate goal is to ensure efficient and effective testing for the purpose of disease prevention patient care and public health improvement in Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 60minute lunch.
• Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Four years of experience in stores control work including two years of supervisory experience or in charge of a storeroom with considerable volume and variety of commodities; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• This particular position also requires possession of a valid drivers license.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
