A growing ecommerce business is seeking an experienced ECommerce Catalog Manager to oversee and optimize product listings and marketing content for a catalog of over 50000 items. This role involves leading a team of writers and graphic designers to ensure all content aligns with ecommerce best practices SEO standards and business growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership organizational and writing skills along with experience managing remote teams. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and mentor writers and graphic designers to produce engaging highquality product listings and marketing materials.
- Maintain and update a catalog of over 50000 items ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure product listings are optimized for SEO conversion rates and overall ecommerce best practices.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to align catalog content with broader business strategies.
- Monitor and analyze catalog performance implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Support the transition to a fulltime team structure including hiring and onboarding new team members.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing remote teams and overseeing catalog content for ecommerce.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong writing organizational and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of SEO ecommerce platforms and catalog management best practices.
