Job Description

Position Overview
Were seeking a Senior Sales and Applications Associate with strong technical expertise and commercial acumen to drive highvalue customer engagements.

In this role youll take direct ownership of the complete sales cycle for our engineered solutions from initial technical discussions through proposal development and contract negotiation.

Youll serve as the primary technical authority in customer interactions analyzing customer requirements and developing solutions that address their needs while delivering compelling value propositions that influence key decisionmakers.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of process design and equipment selection and the ability to perform preliminary calculations to create accurate price estimates. This position requires someone who can seamlessly blend engineering knowledge with business strategy to secure and grow relationships with industry leaders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Analysis: Interpret and analyze customer specifications to identify appropriate equipment and solutions that meet their requirements
  • Process Design: Develop understanding of process design and perform calculations needed for equipment selection and pricing
  • Technical Leadership: Lead indepth technical discussions with clients to understand their requirements and present innovative solutions
  • Value Proposition Development: Craft compelling value propositions that clearly communicate the economic and technical benefits of our solutions
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for proposals including equipment specifications and performance parameters
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver formal and informal presentations on technologies and operating practices to share knowledge and influence decision makers
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key technical and commercial stakeholders at client organizations
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to create comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for highvalue opportunities
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate technical and commercial risks in customer requirements developing mitigation strategies to protect both client and company interests
  • Project Handover: Ensure smooth transition of won projects to teams maintaining technical integrity and customer expectations
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscape


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • 5 years of experience in applications engineering technical sales or similar customerfacing technical role
  • Experience with process design or technical sales
  • Strong technical knowledge related to engineered equipment
  • Experience in relevant industries such as energy petrochemical refining or manufacturing
  • Proven ability to interpret complex technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment selection and creating accurate price estimates
  • Proven track record of developing and winning complex technical proposals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executivelevel stakeholders
  • Experience with pricing strategy and contract negotiations
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work from technical specifications to proposal documentation
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and ability to maintain accurate customer records
  • Comfortable with domestic and international travel (up to 20
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and relevant technical software
