Starting Salary
The starting pay is $18.75 per hour. To qualify for a higher pay rate the candidate will have to provide documentation of relevant experience and qualifications.

We are excited to invite a compassionate and dynamic individual to join us as a Community Coach in our transformative PossAbility Program.
About the Role
As a Community Coach youll play a pivotal role in guiding individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. You will be out in the community fostering independence and skillbuilding aligned with each participants personcentered plan. This role is not just a job; its an opportunity to make a real difference promoting inclusion volunteerism and relationshipbuilding in community settings.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and guide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities focusing on skills for successful community integration.
- Build positive supportive relationships and encourage participants active engagement in all activities.
- Foster respectful interactions with community members advocating for ageappropriate treatment of participants.
- Develop and implement Individual Service Plans assessing progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain professional empathetic relationships with families and agency staff balancing advocacy with respect and sensitivity.
- Document participant progress meticulously and manage essential administrative tasks.
Skills and Requirements
- Conversant in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and problemsolving.
- Strong computer skills for effective recordkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills for training and supervising participants.
- Independence in decisionmaking and business judgment.
- A valid California drivers license with a clean driving record.

Monday through Friday
Morning shift 8:30am 2:30pm
