Job Description
We are currently seeking a talentedEnd DumpTruck Driverfor our waste disposal company in Austin! This is a fulltime permanent position with significant earning potential.
This is a handson driving opportunity we are seeking drivers that are comfortable working systems physically assisting with tasks at target sites and facilities and have familiarity with heavy equipment outside of driving. Drivers must be comfortable withcustomer interface living in the solution and taking action.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Pick up deliver and haul solids and grit from municipal customers with tractor trailer end dump
Pick up deliver and haul solids from municipal customers using end dump truck
Must be comfortable with a repetitive local route (home daily)
Loading of end dumps with large tractors with Company training
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load box on/off truck
Follow removal instructions and maintain compliance with all DOT company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
Properly load and unload waste/boxes at various locations in a professional courteous timely safe and efficient manner
Ensure proper load securement of equipment
Complete manifests logs and other paperwork accurately and timely
Must complete a daily pretrip and posttrip using the electronic DVIR system
Requirements
MUST HAVE Current CDL Class A License
Medically and Professionally qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle (including passing of drug screen MVR PSP Clearinghouse & other background requirements)
MUST HAVE 3 years of commercial driving truck driving experience MUST HAVE 1 year experience in End Dump Truck
Manual/Stick Shift Experience REQUIRED no automatic restrictions permitted.
Waste industry experience or similar preferred
Must be comfortable with a repetitive local route
