Key responsibilities:
The Technical Training Lead works with all functions in the business notably Country GMs HSES Quality Engineering Supply Chain Product Management R&D (Chemistry Technology Development and Process Development) and HR and is responsible for:
Industrial Management System
As process owner of IMS GP03 (Competence Management) for ALAM is responsible for designing and implementing this process within ALAM including:
Developing and maintaining the Competence Management program
Ensuring that Competence Management priorities are established
Ensuring that a list of jobs and tasks requiring qualification is established
Ensuring that competency requirements are established for each job or task
Providing support notably to Facility and Activity Managers in order to ensure the proper understanding and implementation of the process
Monitoring and evaluating the process effectiveness in order to determine and implement improvement actions if necessary
Ensuring data and information related to the process performance are collected analyzed and evaluated and reviewed during management review meetings
Training & Development
Drive the technical Knowledge management Initiative at ALAM
Identify critical competencies/needs per domain identify potential experts and trainers develop/manage/groom experts for Air Liquides Technical Community Leaders (TCL) DA/SME (including resources in Molecule Family Networks of ALAM) in close coordination with the stakeholders.
In close collaboration with HR & TCL selection committee lead TCL nomination and selection activities in ALAM.
Design develop and execute training programs matching with the Training Need Analysis aligned with the Ambition of ALAM
Partner with internal and external resources/ stakeholders to continuously improve Training Delivery
Leading the technical training development and qualification program of the ALAM Operations team globally and leverage on expertise to support operations.
Contribute to the Individual development plans of the targeted Key population as applicable
Close the feedback loop in an prompt and effective manner w.r.t the training and development programs
Design and Develop BI dashboards applicable for the technical talent development program.
CIMP Program Management:
Driving the overall implementation of CIMP (incl. replication) projects in close coordination with all stakeholders including the country GMs and site leaders.
Leading governance of CIMP program implementation and running PDCA cycle to continuously improve CIMP program effectiveness at ALAM.
Required Experience/ Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering.
Six Sigma Green Belt (mandatory) and Black belt preferred
Experience 23 years in the fine chemistry industry (or similar) and Experience in the transverse domain in the chemical industry. Working experience in Operations preferred.
Have a strong passion for training and nurturing talents.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business.
Experience of a global/international industrial context.
Strong analytical skills; self starter; objective driven; achiever.
Ability to interact successfully across all levels of the organization from technicians to the Csuite
Ability to work globally and lead effectively by Influence.
