Job Summary
The Crow Museum of Asian Art of the University of Texas at Dallas is currently looking to hire an Assistant Director of Development to work with our Director of Development and Museum team. The Crow Museum of Asian Art will open its second location in Richardson Texas next year. With the opening of a second location comes increased development activities. The Assistant Director of Development is tasked with the establishment and growth of campus and community membership programs for revenue and engagement with the museum and university. This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire membership program for both locations. Primary responsibilities will include identifying and cultivating new members and major donors in coordination with museum and university development departments organizing member events and programs marketing and promoting the museum and university to the student and campus population and external public. The Assistant Director of Development will direct and oversee the creation of membership materials including print and digital brochures membership cards letterhead and website as well as oversee all communication initiatives with members including student and campus members member prospects and the general public including monthly enewsletters social media and other outlets.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Establishment and growth of campus and community membership programs for revenue and engagement with the museum and university including materials brochures cards letterhead digital and website In coordination with the Development Director help to develop and evaluate overall strategic fundraising plan Build and maintain membership program and budget in a responsible manner and with appropriate growth metrics In coordination with the Development Director help to manage identification and cultivation of major university prospects Create promote and execute all member and member recruitment events and programs planning at both locations Create and execute all membership marketing and advertisement for promotion of museum and university Help training of front of house staff for member issues database maintenance onsite data collection member surveys and member recruitment Plan track and execute monthly enewsletter and other regular communications to members donors and general public with assistance from Membership Coordinator
