To troubleshoot systems and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment while always keeping safety as a priority. Provide technical support for production and carry out the assignments and responsibilities given to them by the Press Maintenance Manager and Supervisor. Responsible for maintaining press shop equipment through PM/TPM activities as well as repairing breakdown conditions.Maintain troubleshoot and provide continuous improvement suggestions resulting in minimal downtime of manufacturing equipment in the assembly area. Support installation and modification of equipment to ensure quality control requirements are met and process enhancements are realized.
Education
High school diploma or GED required
2year degree from a technical college or minimum of three years on the job training with heavy industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity. journeyman certification is a plus.
Technical Training
Must have a basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading dimension drawings etc.
Basic robotics troubleshooting.
Basic electrical circuit troubleshooting.
Experience
Strong technical background; prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred with three years minimum experience.
