Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a solid understanding of Oil & Energy processes and detailed engineering. As an integral member of our global multidisciplinary team you will contribute to Oil & Gas projects by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions. Your role will encompass various responsibilities including preparing design documents performing equipment sizing calculations conducting system studies and collaborating with crossfunctional teams. Your proficiency in electrical engineering coupled with your familiarity with industryspecific equipment and software will be instrumental in ensuring the successful of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Oil & Energy processes and related detailed engineering.
  • Collaborate effectively within global multidisciplinary teams on Oil & Gas projects.
  • Prepare essential design documents such as Design Basis Load list Cable schedule Interconnection Schedule Single Line Diagrams schematics and Bulk MTO.
  • Possess expertise in selecting and specifying VFD Drives OnGrid OffGrid Inverters.
  • Create Area Classification drawings and contribute handson experience in this aspect.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in Telecommunication PA FA and radio systems for Oil and Gas units.
  • Conduct Equipment sizing calculations for transformers generators HV/LV cables AC UPS and capacitor banks.
  • Utilize System Studies software (ETAP) to independently model electrical systems and conduct load flow short circuit motor starting and protection relay setting studies.
  • Develop technical specifications and data sheets for various Electrical Equipment.
  • Generate Cable schedules and Panel schedules.
  • Familiarity with software applications like AutoCAD 3D or PDMS/SP3D will be advantageous.
  • Prepare Request for Inquiry (RFI) review technical offers and assess relevant documents from vendors.
  • Lead the preparation of technical Bid Evaluations.
  • Review vendor drawings for various Electrical Equipment including schematics for HV/LV systems.
  • Utilize your practical knowledge to design Layouts such as Equipment Layouts substation layouts and lighting layouts.
  • Collaborate with Designers Architects Structural Engineers Mechanical Engineers Process Engineers and external design consultants as needed.
  • Fulfil any other duties assigned by the project and team requirements.

Candidate Specification:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Should have experience from Saudi Aramco Project
  • 7 years of relevant experience in Electrical design within a consultancy organization focused on the Oil & Energy Sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential; familiarity with AutoCAD is a must.
  • Comfortable with AutoCAD viewer and Navis viewer.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral part of an integrated team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated individual with a strong desire to learn new skills and contribute value to the team and organization.
