Job Description
Position Long Term SubstituteELTeacherQualifications: Bachelors DegreeClassroom or related experience with children ages 5MA DESE License preferred Salary$125.00 per day $150.00 per day after 20 consecutive daysEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior teaching experience or related experience with children ages 5 and the ability to contribute meaningfully to gradelevel. Candidates must have excellent writing interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work with independence in dealing with the diverse elements of the academic environment.Instructional:
- Employs a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom
- Prepares conducts and delivers motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum child development and student abilities
- Encourages an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students
- Utilizes a variety of assessments and uses data in the classroom to monitor students progress
