Mental Health Professional Targeted Case Management


People Incorporated Outpatient Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our team at our Targeted Case Management Dakota County team. The Mental Health Professional applies evidencebased practices in providing an array of services to support client recovery and facilitates safe therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and comprehensive evaluations individualized treatment planning resourcing and referring clients and engaging and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders involved in clients care. The person in this position may also provide clinical supervision throughout the larger organization for those working towards professional degrees or clinical licensure.


Schedule: Full Time 1.0 Monday Friday Standard Business Hours.

Hiring Range:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional:$74000 $80000 annuallyplus $2000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

Main Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of client mental health services ensuring documentation standards are met and addressing emergency situations as needed while demonstrating sound decisionmaking discretion and problemsolving skills at all times.
  • Actively participate in the mental health services providing leadership sharing of clinical expertise with other team members and advancing the reputation of services provided.
  • Demonstrate sound decisionmaking discretion and problemsolving skills. Actively participate in clinical meetings and consultations.
  • Per licensing board provide clinical supervision to clinical trainees interns and other students.
  • Assist in the development and provision of specialized training to the larger team as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.   • Ability to pass the Rule 11 Criminal Background Screening and the Sexual Exploitation of Patients by Psychotherapists screen required by the Department of Human Services.
  • The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure the employee has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
  • Current drivers license along with a good driving record and valid insurance if applicable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in the behavioral sciences

Required Certifications/Licenses:

  • Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP LPCC LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions
  • OR proof of current clinical licensure as described above within 60 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
  • Minimum of 1 year of postlicensure experience in providing services to individuals with cooccurring disorders (MH/CD).
  • Minimum of six months prior supervisory experience within a notforprofit environment.
  • Prior mental health experience.

Preferred Certifications/Licenses:

  • Current certification in specialized area (EMDR DBT Trauma Narrative Therapy or Neuropsychology)
  • Current and valid evidence of being a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor for one or more of the professional boards.
