Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Primary responsibility is to encourage academic growth in scholars to help them reach proficiency at grade level.
Education/Certification
- High School Diploma
- Two 2 years successful completion of higher education preferred
Experience:
- 12 years of classroom or tutoring experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Utilize EPLAs tutoring programs to deliver supplemental instruction to students during school and in afterschool settings.
- Maintain documentation of tutoring sessions.
- Communicate with campus personnel about student progress.
- Attend ongoing professional development.
- Build relationships with students.
Equipment Used:
Computer copier and audiovisual equipment
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintains emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending keeling pushing and
pulling. Moves small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom or adaptive
equipment.
Salary(hourly)
Less than 60 college hrs: $10.00
60 College hrs: $15.00
Degreed: $20.00
