HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Product Packaging Development Associate role is an individual contributor position responsible for all aspects of the development process for labeling and packaging. He / she communicated with the supplier to develop and negotiate cost and ensures approvals are completed on time. This role typically reports into the Sr Manager or Manager Packaging & Trim and is based in our Buckhead office.


45: Development Process:
Daily communication with internal teams (Merchandising Marketing etc. and PDC partners to lead communication on creative intent development needs.
Kickoff and communicate all development and changes related to product packaging & labeling.
Engage in cost negotiations for nominated suppliers and communicate to crossfunctional teams.
Work with Sr Manager to ensure ESG goals are a part of the development process.
Approve all layouts and colors for packaging vendors for nominated suppliers prior to bulk production.
Manage all development translations for specific packaging items for international countries.


35: Process and Calendar Adherence:
Ensure approval of all packaging and labeling development are completed on time.
Maintain correct and timely packaging & labeling information in Flex PLM including cost image and relevant supplier information.
Maintain size and weight charts for all brands for use on packaging in collaboration with TD and Merchandising.
Partner with Sr Manager and CGS to remove roadblocks for any production related issues that arise.


20: Product Management:
Partner with Product Integrity to ensure all labeling and packaging requirements include care instructions fiber content and other regulatory requirements for both domestic and international countries of distribution are considered with developing each component.
Support Sr Manager on special projects to meet customer needs and drive productivity (i.e. Product Packaging Manual seasonal guidelines size charts etc).

WED LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

1 to 4 years industry experience in either Textile and/or Apparel Manufacturing Sourcing Merchandising or Product Development
Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 4 years of additional industry experience directly related to apparel Sourcing or Product Development
Intermediate understanding of apparel construction and design fabric qualities product costing printing techniques and merchandising and product development activities
Advanced grammar and communication skills; capable of interpreting and conveying international business concepts
Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint etc.
Strong analytical and project management skills; ability to anticipate and proactively arrive at viable solutions
Demonstrate strong consistent problemsolving abilities; results driving communication


Preferred skills and experience:
Professional conduct and communication with matrixbased organizations and global teams
Ability to assist with special projects such as performing competitor/internal product aesthetics and cost analysis

Ability to lift small parcels weighing up to 30 lbs.
