What you will do:
This role will be located in Westbrook Maine and service Westbrook Maine. Under direct supervision and using established standards for Programming Testing and inspecting Fire Alarm CCTV and Security systems. Provide detailed reports of the system operations to customers consultants our design team and subcontractors. Responds to basic warranty calls.
How you will do it:
Performs programming for Fire Alarm systems CCTV Access Control and Intrusion Systems using brand specific software and Code requirements.
Perform the installation of small Fire Alarm CCTV Access Control and intrusion systems using the proper codes.
Assists in the programming and commissioning of all systems as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
Gathers field changes from the project team and creates asbuilt drawings and software. Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Assist in Scheduling projects with our customers.
Assists in performing sitespecific training for owner/operator on the total system.
Completes paperwork including but not limited to time sheets expense reports and onsite documentation.
Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with installing and/or commissioningFire Alarm CCTV Access Control and Security systems.
Where legally permissible if hired candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid19 no later than his/her start date unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.
Preferred:
Maine Electrical License preferred but will consider four years of electrical experience with training.
NICET II and above certification.
