Job Description
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Sonographic Technology required.
- Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
This position does not include nights weekends or calls.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registry (ARDMS) in RDCS required or within one 1 year of hire
Level I ARDMS Registry in one 1 ARDCS Abdomen OB/GYN or RVT. Can also accept RVS from CCI
Level II ARDMS Registry in two 2 of the following RDCS Abdomen OB/GYN RVT
Level III ARDMS Registry in three 3 of the following RDCS Abdomen OB/GYN RVT

Position Summary:
Sovah Danville is seeking a parttime Ultrasound Tech I in Echocardiology under the general guidance of the physicians/providers who perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures. Primarily responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures that require independent judgment ingenuity and initiative while operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Operated ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Receives patients explains the method of the procedure and makes sure the patient is comfortable.
- Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
- Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes the work area.
- Kept accurate records helped with scheduling of the ultrasound and kept patient flow smooth.
