Description
General Summary: Operates the machines and equipment related to the machining process with emphasis on safety quality and productivity.
Essential Functions:
1 Loads and unload parts from the machining line.
2 Inspects machined parts.
3 Conducts preventive maintenance as scheduled.
4 Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Marginal Functions:
1 May operate forklift to move production parts.
2 Audits special parts as designated from die casting.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 Ability to lift parts weighing 35 lbs continuously.
3 Ability to meet required scores on assessments.
Working Conditions:
- Continuous standing.
- Lifting of components weighing up to 35 lbs.
- May be required to work from an elevated platform (up to 20 high).
