We strive to continuously strengthen teaching practices in areas such as culturally responsive instruction active discourse socialemotional learning and differentiated teaching strategies.Lowell Catholic is seeking a dynamic fulltime Middle School Science Teacher (Grades 78.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging inquirybased unit plans that align with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and support diverse student learning needs.Establish and uphold positive classroom routines and culture to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Utilize projectbased learning and handson lab experiences to foster student curiosity and critical thinking.Assess student progress through authentic science assessments and maintain accurate academic records.Reflect on lessons assessments and teaching practices making adjustments as needed for continuous improvement.Communicate effectively with students families and colleagues through email phone and conferences.Collaborate with department members both inperson and via Google Drive to enhance curriculum development and instructional practices.Integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Science Education or a related field (Masters preferred).MA certification in Science (Grades 58 or ability to obtain certification.Strong knowledge of inquirybased learning projectbased instruction and laboratory investigations.
