Job Description
Position:
Role: Interventional Radiology RN
Job Location: Atlantic City NJ
Shift: 4x10 Monday Friday
Job Duration: 13 Weeks With potential to convert into FTE
Responsibilities:
Assists the physician in these procedures.
The nurse is responsible for patient care during the entire process including the initial assessment the plan of care administering medication checking for lab results and reviewing the patients medical history.
Inserting maintaining and removing intravenous lines for safe medication and contrast dye delivery
Reviewing allergies patient history and physical assessment findings with the patient and medical team prior to surgery
Educating patients and family members on postoperative plans and procedures
Assisting surgeons during neurological and vascular angiography (setting up supplies passing guide wires and catheters preparing sterile trays and equipment handing over instruments and supplies etc.
Monitoring for and addressing intraoperative complications (oversedation cardiac arrhythmia respiratory decompensation acid/base imbalance etc.
Requirements: (Bullet/ Certifications/work experience)
2 years experience required.
Vascular work in a Hybrid OR extensive leg work with angiograms and lysis catheters. Must general product knowledge.
State License Required
BLS ACLS PALS
Benefits:
Nontaxable pay package for candidates more than 50 miles from facility.
Sign on and Contract completion bonus for right candidate.
Compensation: $78.00 $80.00 per hour
