Job Summary:
The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the operational performance financial health and team development across a designated region of veterinary hospitals. The RVP will work closely with regional leadership corporate teams and other stakeholders to ensure operational excellence drive revenue growth and maintain a high standard of care for patients and clients. This position is pivotal in aligning regional operations with the companys mission vision and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee daytoday operations of multiple veterinary hospitals ensuring compliance with company standards policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency productivity and patient care.
Lead Regional Directors of Operations to maintain consistent highquality service delivery.
Financial Management
Drive financial performance by managing budgets monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
Develop and execute strategies to optimize operational costs without compromising quality of care.
Analyze financial reports to identify trends address challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning and
Partner with Group Vice President to develop and execute regional strategies that align with the companys broader goals.
Support growth initiatives including hospital acquisitions expansions and new service offerings.
Foster innovation by identifying emerging trends in the veterinary industry and implementing best practices.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead mentor and support Regional Directors of Operation and their teams to ensure strong leadership at each location.
Build a culture of accountability collaboration and professional growth within the region.
Identify talent gaps and collaborate with People Ops to recruit train and retain highperforming employees.
Client and Patient Experience
Champion a culture of clientcentric care by ensuring the region consistently delivers exceptional service to clients and their pets.
Address escalated client concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Monitor patient care standards to ensure compliance with medical best practices.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all hospitals within the region adhere to company policies industry regulations and applicable laws.
Identify and mitigate operational risks including staffing facility maintenance and client satisfaction.
Support the implementation of safety and compliance initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
8 years of progressive leadership experience in multisite operations preferably in veterinary healthcare or a similar industry.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and financial performance in a multilocation environment.
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing financial reports.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
Knowledge of veterinary operations and industry trends is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel regularly within the region to support hospital teams and operations.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced work environment.
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The annual salary will range between $185000$195000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location.
