Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical/Electrical Superintendent to support our Technical Clients in the Pacific Northwest.       

  • Provide overall onsite administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. 
  • Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility which may be a single area multiarea or a multidiscipline construction project. 
  • May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities or may coordinate with clients resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. 
  • Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications completion on schedule within budget and to quality standards. 
  • Interfaces with all other administrative field staff field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Engineering related curriculum and 4 years of related Mechanical/Electrical experience or A/AS and 6 years of relevant experience or HS/GED and 8 years OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the field of electrical/mechanical interiors mechanical/electrical construction.
  • Advanced training in the field of Electrical/Mechanical studies. 
  • Construction Superintendent experience. 
  • Ability/experience in managing subcontracted trades.
  • Construction experience in critical environments.
  • Experience with construction documentation such as RFIs change order management etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word Excel Outlook Teams)
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time appropriately.
  • This position has driving requirements a company vehicle is not provided.  Expenses will be reimbursed.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a preemployment substance abuse test.
  • Position will require extensive travel.
  • For positions with driving responsibilities Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOMs background check process to ensure compliance with the Companys driving standards.
