Job Description
We are seeking a Regional Business Development Project Manager to join the region SOUTH WEST Europe at VELUX. In this role you will play an essential role in the achievement of our advanced growth plans monitoring the regional project portfolio and taking ownership of regional governance.
In the regional project management office you will be part of a team of 2 Project Managers and your geographical scope will include France Benelux Italy Spain and Portugal.
Your mission will also consist in spearheading innovative project management practices and strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Project Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting: Streamline project status reporting and consolidating tools and processes. Track and analyze project metrics milestones and deliverables to provide valuable insights to stakeholders and enable dataefficient decisionmaking for achieving our growth targets.
Capacity planning: Consolidate project proposals and business cases for evaluation prioritization and resource allocation. Optimize resource allocation between global regional and local strategic initiatives.
Data Analysis: Assist leadership team with dashboarding and leverage analytical and problemsolving capacity to explore areas of improvement
REPORT TO:Regional PMO Manager
Profile
Masters degree in business administration economic project management or a related field.
Passion for delivering results.
Significant Experience in project management.
High knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Proven communication and stakeholder management abilities with a keen focus on driving business impact.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
Experience working in a multicountry context specifically in France Benelux Italy Spain and Portugal is preferred
Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Abilities
Strategic thinking and analytical skills: global vision data driven forward thinking creativity and ability to structure delivery planning
Capacity to multideliver & adapt to different situations and local cultures;
Teamwork networking facilitating skills.
