About the business

Picnic Tables WA is a Perth owned and operated family business specializing in the design and construction of wooden outdoor furniture for both hire and sales. The business works with different types of timber to create picnic tables and bench seats for all different industries. The event hire side of the business supplies wooden outdoor furniture accessories and infrastructure to the event hire industry in WA.

They are currently seeking a driven and hardworking individual to join their growing team as a Carpentry Apprentice.

About the role

Day to day duties include (but not limited to)

• Manufacturing outdoor furniture in the workshop using hand and power tools
• Delivering the furniture to clients using trucks and trailers
• Repairs and maintenance of hire furniture
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop
• Assisting tradesmen with tasks
• Other duties as required

Prerequisites

• Manual drivers license
• Must be physically strong and fit as you will be required to lift heavy furniture

• Great communicator
• Punctual reliable and honest
• Good customer service skills
• Shows a genuine interest in carpentry
• Flexibility to work on some weekends & evenings
• Eager to learn and work independently as required
