Job Description
Description of the role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Home Caregiverto join our team at Senior Helpers Lees Summit. As a Caregiver you will provide essential caregiving support to our elderly clients ensuring their safety comfort and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing grooming dressing and toileting
Monitoring and reporting changes in clients physical and mental condition
Administering medication under the direction of a healthcare professional
Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
Maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients families and healthcare professionals
Strong empathy and patience towards the elderly
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of proper infection control protocols
