Position Summary

Provides building level administrative support with daily needs. Ensures that all paperwork (blue sheets job shadows curriculum work agreements catering forms calendars program highlight documentation etc. are completed in a timely manner in order for the Advanced Studies Program (ASP) staff to perform their duties to impact student learning.
Each position isapproximately 20 hours per week and will support one of the three Advanced Studies Programs listed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintains a calendar (ex. STEM Events Google Calendar) at the school that is shared with leadership (Google Calendar).
2. Assists in the completion & upload of stipend paperwork bus requests contracts etc. to Sharepoint in a timely manner.
3. Assists with the purchase of MOI & supplies.
4. Assists in the completion of field trip request forms and the creation of permission slips.
5. Contacts bus companies for quotes for transport and upload to Sharepoint.
6. Inventories and disburses ASP supplies and tools to teachers and students.
7. Assists in securing calendar dates and reservations for field experience locations provided by the ASP DC.
8. Assists in the purchase and organization of magnet attire (ex. STEM Polo shirts).
9. Assists in designing and maintaining Bulletin boards and STEM dcor.
10. Assists in keeping magnet areas and storage areas organized and clean.
11. Accesses to MTS for application data.
12. Plans and arranges possible job shadow experiences and competitions.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate.
Experience
One 1 year of recent general office experience performing work of a progressively responsible nature OR an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities deemed sufficient to prepare the applicant to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Good knowledge of modern office practices and procedures bookkeeping businessEnglish spelling and commercial arithmetic.
Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment in dealing with students parentsadministrators other employees and the general public.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
Demonstrated proficiency with business software (e.g. Microsoft Office SuiteWord ExcelOutlook and/or PowerPoint preferred). A minimum score on preemployment assessmentis required.
Successful completion of all required tests.
