Job Description
Position Description: Responsible for providing therapies to individuals couples groups and families to promote ideal mental health and the Healing Heart Center
- Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress
- Responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
- Responsible for referring clients to specialists as necessary
- Establish positive trusting rapport with clients
- Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
- Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions and needs.
Masters degree required
An advanced level license by a state professional certifying body that is permitted by law to provide care and services without direction or supervision
