What You Can Expect
As part of Marvells Data Center Ethernet PHY Business Unit you will join an industryleading team that develops cuttingedge infrastructure solutions for enterprise data center service providers small businesses and digital home customers. Our AEC Applications Team is at the forefront of designing innovative solutions for 400 Gigabit 800 Gigabit and 1.6 Terabit Ethernet AEC products.
We are looking for a customerfacing handson Senior Applications Engineer who is passionate about solving complex technical challenges and delivering exceptional solutions. Your work will directly impact the success of our products and our customers ability to deploy transformative data center technologies.

:- Own and Resolve Customer Issues: Proactively support Marvells AEC PAM4 DSP products by addressing customer issues and driving them to resolution.
- Be the Bridge Between Customers and Engineering: Act as the primary interface between customers and Marvells engineering teams to address technical challenges.
- Collaborate with CrossFunctional Teams: Work closely with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and Product Line Managers (PLMs) to gather customer insights and communicate them effectively to marketing and engineering.
- Drive Design Wins: Assist the sales team in securing key design wins for Marvell AEC Cables by providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Provide HandsOn Support: Review customer schematics and layouts perform handson debugging and bringup of customer cables and offer onsite troubleshooting when needed.
- Deliver Technical Expertise: Support customer lab/field trials understand application environments and offer insightful recommendations to enhance product performance.
- Develop Technical Collateral: Create valuable resources including application notes user guides release notes white papers and technical documents to support customers and internal teams.
What Were Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field with 510 years of professional experience.
- Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related fields with 5 years of experience.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of analog/digital circuits and system hardware.
- Minimum of 3 years of handson lab experience with SerDes TX and RX validation.
- Proficient with lab equipment including highspeed oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers logic/protocol analyzers and traffic generators.
- Strong understanding of highspeed schematic and design layout (PCB layout signal integrity board assembly and manufacturing).
- Familiarity with software programming languages (C Python) is a plus.
- Experience with highspeed data communication interfaces and signal integrity analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a passion for handson troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and customers.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Detailoriented selfdriven and capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
$ per annumThe successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
