Job Description
The Chemistry Department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invitesapplications for a sessional position starting January 1 2025. In this laborientedposition candidates will create and maintain a positive and engaging learningenvironment while teaching one or more sections of first year general and second year organic chemistry labs.
- Fundamentals of Chemistry CHEM 1510 labs combined with Principles of Chemistry CHEM 1520 labs
- Organic Chemistry CHEM 2220 labs
Preference will be given to candidates with a documented track record of asuccessful reflective teaching practice at the postsecondary level.
Requirements
We seek applicants with a strong trackrecord of excellence in scholarlyteaching in the field of chemistry.
Applicants with an MSc and those who are close to completion of their relevant MSc are welcome to apply andwill be considered.
