Job Description
This Manufacturing Engineering position will support the Order Fulfillment (OF) group in new product introduction sustaining existing products / processes generating and implementing changeorders and customer support activities.Participates actively in new product introduction by working closely with the R&D and OF teams to ensure manufacturability testability and reliability goals are met. Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production. Must have experience with Oracle to look upitem settings BOMs transaction history and understand how item andBOM settings affect costing.
Standard Manufacturing Engineering duties expected of this position include process documentation originating and/or reviewing engineering change orders resolving internal and external quality issues and maintaining and managing ERP data such asBOMs and routings. Sustaining of existing products may include continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and/or quality improvement maintenance of test tools and processes managing component obsolescence and operator training.
Discipline:
- Determines and develops approaches to assignments
- Leads / participates indevelopment projects requiring coordination with other functions suppliers
- Solves a broad range of problems varying in scope and complexity
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline.
- 57 years of experience.
- Must have experience with Oracle to look upitem settings BOMs transaction history and understand how item andBOM settings affect costing.
- This job requires handson troubleshooting and diagnostic skills as well as some experimental design/setupdata collection andanalysis
