Johns Hopkins All Childrens doctors nurses therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary:The Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking integrates multisystem implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcomeoriented approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
- 5 years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
- Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo Pediatric Echocardiography Nuchal Translucency Advanced Cardiac Sonographer Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Adult Echo)
- Current BLS certification AHA
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
Shift: FullTime Day Shift 8:00 AM 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.
***This position is located 50 of the time in Bradenton FL at the Manatee County Rural Health Clinic & 50 in North Port FL at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Outpatient Care Center. Both locations are approximately 50 miles apart from each other. Applicant must be able to travel between both sites.Any travel outside of home base will be compensated for time and mileage.
Salary Range: Minimum36.52per hour Maximum58.44per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
