We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to be part of our growing Goldfish Swim School Springfield location. We are seeking a self starter who is motivated to grow and succeed!

- Annual Salary: $35000 $45000
- Directs and controls the daily operations ensuring the school is running according to GSS standards.
- Coaches and leads staff to maintain Management Standards and Philosophies.
- Demonstrates continued growth in Leadership Development.
- Leads the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
- Initiates and oversees workplace culture and employee interaction. Maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
- Oversees all Sales & Service and Aquatics accountability.
- Oversees all Sales & Service and Aquatics training & development.
- Gains a high level of knowledge in EOS.
- Oversees all Reports. Including PreMonthly Billing Reports.
- Oversees the opening and closing process.
- Oversees inventory and provides direction in the retail and vending departments.
- Participates in teaching lessons and/or Deck Supervising at least once a week to maintain 100 Lesson Quality.
- Gains a high level of knowledge in our curriculum and aquatics systems as well as experience in the GSS pool operations.
- Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility and trains all current staff on the GSS EAP.
- Maintains current certifications and stays uptodate professionally on the aquatics and management field.
- Personal growth in leadership development and strategies and welcoming feedback to gain insight.
- The ability to communicate and connect with employees and customers to build trust and genuine relationships.
- Ownership and initiative to solve problems and make recommendations
- Shows the ability to make sound objective decisions based on facts logic and good judgement in a timely manner.
- Shows the ability to seperate management and leadership and has the intuition when to use engage in each.
- Has intrinsic motivation to succeed and to lead the team in succeeding.
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to incoporate multitasking in oversight.
- Positive up beat attitude that focuses on producing results through coaching not driving.
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 year experience in management of 30 employees
- 1 year customer service relationship building and sales experience
- 1 year aquatics experience Lifeguarding coaching teaching and/or supervising
- Strong leadership organization skills and computer skills
- The ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple situations at once
- Experience in pump room
- Able to sustain a high level of energy in the most positive manner

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
