Job Description

Join USfalcon as a Systems Engineer Craftsman 3 (Cyber Integration) at Schriever Space Force Base Colorado and make a significant impact on the success of USSF missions. In this role youll lead the design planning and implementation of technical solutions to integrate a cyber enclave supporting USSF exercises ensuring toptier cyber capabilities and mission readiness.

Pay: $144000 $158500

Essential Duties

Cyber Range Integration & Support

  • Design plan and implement solutions enabling cyber personnel to participate in USSF exercises via secure multilevel cyber ranges (local or distributed).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and integrate technical and functional requirements for cyber capabilities in USSF exercises.

Project Management & Risk Mitigation

  • Manage project milestones timelines and resources to ensure successful integration of cyber capabilities into USSF exercises.
  • Identify and mitigate risks ensuring security performance and operational reliability within the 392 CTS modeling and simulation operations.

Testing & Validation

  • Lead comprehensive testing and validation processes for integrated cyber systems to ensure compliance with government regulations security protocols and industry best practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of integration activities including updates challenges and resolutions for internal tracking and reporting.

Communication & Reporting

  • Attend technical interchange meetings (TIM) inprogress reviews and other programmatic meetings related to 392 CTSsponsored USSF exercises.
  • Prepare and present schedules plans and reports ensuring timely communication of project status and updates to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience working in or for DoD organizations.
  • Proven experience within DoD or National space or cyber organizations.
  • Expertise in project management particularly within the DoD including delivering milestones across complex interrelated efforts.
  • Skilled in risk management concepts and strategies to ensure project success.
  • Experience in designing deploying and maintaining secure network infrastructures particularly in military or government environments.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards (e.g. Risk Management Framework (RMF) and their application in operational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing DoD cyber projects from initial design to completion.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Project Management Certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with cyber ranges including integration tools and managing simulation environments for training/testing.
  • Indepth knowledge of DoD cyber requirements acquisition and contracting processes.

Education & Certification

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Required Clearance

  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance required (must be active).

Travel

  • Limited travel required (approximately 56 weeks per year).
