Quality Engineer
Minnetonka MN Direct Hire $70k 100k
Konik is partnering with a local contract manufacturerseeking a Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement and compliance in manufacturing operations. This role requires leadership in quality systems internal and external audits and problemsolving to enhance product reliability and process efficiency. Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
- Represent quality interests in crossfunctional meetings and collaborate on compliance customer complaints rootcause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage internal audits ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards and lead thirdparty audit preparations
- Conduct riskbased auditing analyze findings and implement corrective actions for process improvement.
- Address nonconformances supplier issues and customer complaints through rootcause analysis and resolution strategies.
- Develop and maintain quality inspection methods and continuous improvement initiatives in a lean manufacturing environment.
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with at least five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ASQ Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 ISO9001 ISO13485 and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with adhesive materials is a plus.
