Job Description
Licensed Veterinary Technician SEASONAL
- LicensedVeterinary Technician
- Seasonal work from April 2025 through May 2025
- Assist the KCAL Instructor in classroom setting with teaching veterinary technical skills
- SuperviseLVT students as they practice handson learning experiences
- Serve as a mentor for students; provide LVT expertise and instruction to individual students
- Provide a safe environment for all students
- Assist in supporting the rules regulations and safety of the facility
- Prevent accidents through the enforcement of policies regulations and ordinances governing the conduct of persons
- Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner
- Complete an incident report for all accidents and injuries
- Enforce and adhere to all rules and regulations
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not acceptable to KCAL Instructor immediately
- Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs
- Maintain file and secure all physical and computerized reports records and other required documents
- Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive courteous and respectful
- Maintain confidentiality
- Comply and implement all policies operating procedures legal requirements and verbal and written directives
