Job Description
- POSITION SUMMARY
- The EMS Instructor (Advanced) will be assigned duties relative to all areas of EMS education and will be responsible to the EMS Education Coordinator for carrying out such duties.
- The EMS Instructor (Advanced) will be assigned duties relative to all areas of EMS education and will be responsible to the EMS Education Coordinator for carrying out such duties.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Nationally Registered Paramedic
- Eligible for EMTP license in North Dakota must obtain within 90 days
- AHA Instructor of CPR/ACLS/PALS must obtain within 90 days
- Incident Command certification in North Dakota preferred
- PHTLS Instructor preferred
- Nationally Registered Paramedic
- Educational Requirements
- EMTParamedic as evidenced by licensure
- EMTParamedic as evidenced by licensure
- Experience Requirements
- Must have appropriate medical or allied health education training and experience
- Knowledge about methods of instruction testing and evaluation of students
- Must have field experience in the delivery of outofhospital emergency care
- Must be knowledgeable on current national curricula national accreditation national registration and the requirements for state certification or licensure
- Must have appropriate medical or allied health education training and experience
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Computer experience required
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people
- Knowledge of current trends developments and concepts in prehospital care
- Computer experience required
- Licenses and Certifications Required
