Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Teacher to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Pilates instruction a commitment to promoting health and wellness and the ability to create an inclusive and motivating environment for all skill levels. This role requires a focus on delivering high-quality instruction while fostering a community atmosphere that encourages personal growth and fitness achievement.
Day-to-Day:
- Class Instruction: Lead engaging and eective Pilates classes for individuals and groups accommodating various skill levels and physical abilities. Ensure that all sessions align with our studios philosophy and standards.
- Program Development: Design and implement customized Pilates programs that address the specific needs and goals of clients including rehabilitation strength building flexibility enhancement and overall wellness.
- Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their fitness goals and provide personalized support. Oer guidance and encouragement to foster a positive client experience and retention.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and clean workout environment by adhering to health and safety standards. Ensure equipment is in good condition and assist members in using it safely.
- Education and Training: Continuously educate yourself and stay updated on the latest Pilates techniques trends and research. Attend workshops seminars and relevant courses to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Pilates classes and programs providing information for social media newsletters and community events. Participate in outreach activities to attract new members and increase class attendance.
- Feedback and Improvement: Solicit and respond to member feedback regarding classes and programs. Provide this feedback to management to enable improvements and ensure that our oerings meet the evolving needs of our clientele.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fitness professionals and sta to create a cohesive team environment. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the studio.
About You:
- Education:Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization (e.g. Peak Balanced Body Stott Romanas Pilates). Additional certifications in fitness or health-related fields are a plus. Current CPR certification.
- Experience:Minimum of 1 years teaching Pilates in a studio or gym environment with a proven track record of client satisfaction and retention.
- Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge:In-depth understanding of anatomy movement principles and injury prevention. Familiarity with various Pilates equipment (e.g. Reformers/ Tower EXO chair Bosu TRX) is advantageous.
- Personality:A positive and energetic attitude with a passion for health and fitness. Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all clients.
- Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends to accommodate member needs.
- Physical demands may include standing for extended periods demonstrating exercises and assisting members with equipment.
