Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for setting direction policy and procedures based upon corporate level strategy while ensuring procurement shipping/receiving and inventory support shows value and contributes to the overall success of the company.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Cape Canaveral Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implements new supply chain management related programs and processes.
- Identifies opportunities for outsourcing cost reduction and Supply Chain process improvements.
- Engages and collaborates with other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy.
- Provide leadership and direction to Procurement staff
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Place subcontracts/purchase orders of moderate complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements
- Review drawings specifications and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy for production hardware and build to print parts
- Prepare issue and analyze RFQs/RFPs
- Perform cost/price analysis techniques in support of proposals and purchase orders
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price Delivery Terms & Conditions)
- Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
- Adhere to all Quality Management Systems standards and procedures
- Treat all team members with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.

Required Education and Experience
- 7 years experience in procurement supply chain or other relevant industry experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement or another relevant field preferred.Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel Word Outlook and Teams.

- At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements
- Sedentary Work occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to carry lift push pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves being stationary most of the time sometimes requiring moving about the work center on concrete surfaces.
- Computer Work daily use of laptop computer monitor screen keyboard and mouse sometimes utilizing a headset with microphone & speakers.
