Job Description
The School Cafeteria Worker School is responsible for preparing and serving food to students at school. They are also tasked with cleaning and maintaining the cafeteria after it closes for the day. School cafeteria workers must adhere to strict health codes and standards when preparing and serving food. * Assist the Cook in preparing cooking and serving school lunch according to the NSLP guidelines* Prepare lunch items according to recipes and menu* Assist with all aspects of serving students and staff * Perform cashiering duties* Assist with receiving and organizing of weekly deliveries* Assist with general kitchen duties including washing dishes work stations cooking equipment* Assist with receiving /organizing deliveries and also monthly inventory.* Perform any other duties assigned by the Cook / Food Service director
