Job Description
RAM is a project delivery firm specializing in Project Management Construction Management Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Vancouver BC. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging professional and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide firstline technical support and troubleshoot hardware software and network issues.
- Assist in the setup configuration and deployment of computers software and IT equipment for new employees.
- Support IT security initiatives including software updates access management and compliance checks.
- Help maintain IT asset inventory documenting equipment status and usage.
- Assist in managing cloudbased applications including email and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365 Teams SharePoint etc..
- Support internal IT projects such as system upgrades process automation and data migration.
- Document IT procedures user guides and troubleshooting steps for internal use.
- Assist with monitoring and responding to IT service requests.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science Information Technology or related postsecondary program.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Basic understanding of Windows OS Microsoft 365 networking concepts and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing scripting or database management is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear technical support to nontechnical users.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
