Job Description
Location: Palo Alto
Salary Range: $127000 to $297000 USD Equity
Your Role:
As a data scientist in the core product engineering team you will have the unique opportunity to influence and elevate our product development process with your insights and innovations.
Develop key metrics for a profound understanding of our product features assessing their impact on platform engagement and user growth to guide product strategy.
Build and maintain essential datasets dashboards and reporting services serving as the south of truth for our performance indicators.
Analyze data and build analytical tools to gain insights into user behavior thereby enhancing user experiences uncovering growth areas and devising new features.
Provide data and analysis support for product A/B tests playing a pivotal role in datadriven decisionmaking for product changes.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers offering data and analytical support to enhance product development.
Who You Are:
Were looking for exceptional scientists/engineers who are passionate about our mission and have a strong desire to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have:
Master Postgraduate or PhD in statistics mathematics computer science machine learning information retrieval engineering operations research or other quantitative discipline; or equivalent work experience.
3 years of industry experience working with large scale data pipelines endtoend data science solutions and customer behavior analytics (we are hiring all levels DS II or above).
Expertise solving complex and highly impactful business problems through quantitative approaches (statistical / machine learning models) with at least one programming language (Python Scala etc) and data manipulation tools including SQL and Spark.
Ability to create/improve analytics tools or reproducible analysis libraries.
